The Story:The five factions have lived together peacefully, for the most part. There have been bonds and rivalries but any dispute has been small. Been settled by coucil or bargains but never war. This time is over, the tension rising over the years has led to an impending war. Some factions are closer than others, and every faction has its advantages. The death toll will be high, and by the time the war is over the faces and attitudes of any remaining factions may have changed forever. Either way, they are going to fight.
The Factions:Bellum ;; War&Battle ;; The faction where disputes are solved with violence and death. Children in this faction are trained with weapons from an early age, and know their way around battelfield strategy. Most of the factions are trying to put themselve’s on Faction Bellum’s good side, because they are certain that going against them would mean their destruction, but every faction has an upperhand in this war.
Pacem ;; Peace&Ancients ;; The faction where peace is a virtue and conflicts are resolved with words and compromise. This faction doesn’t know much about war, but the lack of battle training has given them a lot of time to learn various other important things, including mythology and legends, and they believe they have the support of the ancient gods and the angels. They may be right, but they don’t feel safe with just a hope of angels coming down to assist them. At any rate, they refuse to team up with Faction Bellum, their virtues being so different.
Medeis ;; Magic&Healing ;; The faction where the schools’ textbooks contain ancient spells in dead languages and the children learn to perform magic. They learn the magic that is in the stories of Faction Pacem, and this leads to an unspoken bond between the two factions. They often intermarry, which happens between all factions but the most between Medeis and Pacem. Their magic leads them to be able to heal faster and live longer, and they can also heal others.
Vitam ;; Life&Familiars ;; The faction where they respect life, whether it’s flora or fauna they share a bond with things with life flowing through them. They live in trees and have familiars, a pet but more. They have unbreakable bonds with their familiars, able to share thoughts and memories and give commands without a word. Some have more harmless familiars, like deer or hedgehogs, but many have familiars much more fearsome, tigers, lions, bears. While they respect life, they aren’t opposed to violence and killing. It happens in nature and they feel that taking a life for a cause gives it some form of honor and respect. They are not a faction to be trifled with.
Discite ;; Logic&Science ;; This faction holds the scientists, the scholars. Some factions have magic, this faction has logic and reasoning. They use science and the elements to their benifit, creating explosive reactions and leaving traps. This holds the heart of engineering, they create things that the other factions couldn’t dream of and help the factions they consider allies. They create advanced weapons and vehicles, and they hold science to the utmost importance. This faction also contains alchemists, meddling with the elements like a Flamel. The alchemy community within the faction hold a bond with the Medeis faction, while the engineers prefer Bellum, the faction that truly appreciates their inventions.

We can do multiples of characters and OCs and everything, there isn’t any constraint you just have to know what faction to put them in.
